The North American leech is larger than the Hirudo. It has babies without laying eggs, and the babies are held on the mother's lower abdomen until they are able to feed themselves and venture out. To see the newborn babies you will need a magnifying glass!
Immediately upon arrival, place your leeches in a container of cold water. To do this, use rain or tap water.
If there is a problem with your order, please send us a picture on the day of delivery and any damage will be compensated.
